CF-L2 Coach

Hi, I'm Patty! I started Crossfit in 2012, and I love that it is a full body functional workout for people of all abilities and ages.

I found Crossfit through a friend after being active in cycling and triathlon training. I was hooked after waking up sore, as my other workouts weren't consistently challenging. I have continued Crossfit through the years as there is always some new skill to learn. Outside the gym, I work full-time as a biostatistician.

Certifications

Crossfit Level 2 Trainer

CRP/AED Certified

I live with a condition called Ankylosing Spondylitis, which is an inflammatory arthritis that affects the spine and has the ability to fuse the vertebrae together. I have experienced disc herniations and bulges, consistently working with physical therapy and massage. I understand what it is like to modify workouts and movements significantly because of my personal experience. I enjoy working with beginners and people of all abilities and ages, as I strongly believe exercise has tremendous health benefits no matter the athlete's skill level.
